The Art of Writing
The beauty of writing lies not in the pen or the paper which a writer uses so fondly to express himself. It lies in the manner of expressions with which they are written off. A writer sees many images in his mind, numerous images that are so colorful and diverse that it becomes difficult for him to decide which image to pick and carry forth.
The images are always encoded with complex and varying emotions; be it sorrow, happiness or anger. So is the nature of human heart, emotionally we are so complex that we have resorted to explain our emotions in the language of hormones and other biological jargons! But an artist or a writer is a scientist on a different level. Not only he has to understand the emotional dimension he is travelling in, but to go deeper into the chamber of secrets of that dimension and come out shouting eureka through his creation. These images form the structure of his imagination and power of visualization, he has to be smart enough to choose the right image based on what emotion he is playing with currently, as it makes the description part smooth for him. Should he choose the wrong image marking an event of emotional clash between his emotional state and that of the image in his mind, a writer may not be able to do justice to his talent.
A transcendental state is achieved when he is able to pick the right image, the right image being the one for which his heart gave the consent with full force, the right image being the one that compels him to work harder and harder to carry it long and further. He begins to feel the joy in expressing, not verbally but through pen or brush!
The real work starts in decoding that image, diving into it deeper and deeper realising the infinite, touching and feeling every colorful and colorless fringe that it carries. When you are able to extract the essence of this flower, it'll hypnotise you and push you to express it in either forms of art, poetry, stories or fine arts!
