This is what we are always up to. Science is searching for solutions to various mysteries, common man is searching for some other mysteries of life as they say and so on. It seems that every search finds it roots in some mystery. A mystery has to be the cause and search being the effect it produces on our minds to solve it. Ironically, a section of people deny the existence of such a mysterious entity which other section of people call God. Anyways if we look at our daily life then an even a simple gesture of boredom too is carrying with it a search for some entertainment. So does it mean that human existence is solely defined by an endless search that we will always be on a journey searching one or other thing? I think the answer is NO! as I said earlier a search always has a mystery with it, this proves that from inside of our heart and logic we all believe in such a mystery but the path to solve it is a bit deviated. Since the beginning of human history we have accounts of numerous debates on religion. The religion got its birth from many factors, the first one be the society. As the man learned to live in groups it developed a society in which large groups were added, groups as in tribes with varying thoughts. I won’t say culture because culture is far from what we are talking about. The new breed of man, social man was now developing a sense of responsibility and this sense of responsibility was the stage where he learnt about his weak side. Man learnt that though he is powerful enough to kill animals alone to feed him-self but in a society when he is with others, it is difficult for him to reveal is strong, cruel side. I am taught from the beginning of my life that in order to be ‘happy’ and to always carry a smile on my as well as my loved one’s faces I have to fight with nature, I have to work hard, I have to do this & that. The world is not as it seems, its cruel, you have to strive for your happiness and so on. And so the fuel is has been added to the tank and the engine get started!!
